Baby Steps is a small app. If something is wrong, an email reaches a person.

There is no account system, so please describe the problem rather than expecting us to look it up — nothing you record is visible to anyone but you.

Reminders are not arriving

Baby Steps sets alarms on the phone rather than sending push notifications. That is why they work with no signal, and also why the phone's own battery settings can stop them.

Several manufacturers close background apps by default. Allowing Baby Steps to run in the background fixes it. The app has step-by-step instructions for the common phones under More → Reminders not arriving?

Whatever the phone does, the app itself stays correct: a dose that was not confirmed still shows as needing attention when you open Baby Steps, however long it has been.

Getting your data out

Under More → Data and privacy you can export everything the app holds as a single file, or delete everything permanently. Neither needs an account, and neither asks anyone's permission.

A note on medical advice

Baby Steps is a health organiser, not a medical device and not a source of medical advice. For anything clinical, ask your doctor.
